New Function: Drilling with Robot Plotter
Together with Ballast Nedam, we developed a robust drilling module for the Robot Plotter to plot points on the mostly wet tunnel floor.
This marked out the spot where the rebar was to be placed, connecting the underlay with the tunnel body.
More than 250,000 points were plotted with this innovation.
The Drilling Module is available as an optional module and can drill up to 15 cm deep. It can drill into concrete and asphalt up to 10 mm diameter and into softer substrates, such as rubble course, up to 20 mm.
Suitable applications include:
- Applying markings where paint will not adhere
- Setting out stakes for piles. Drilling makes hammering the piles much less strenuous for the surveyor
